Splash screen includes link to Youtube channel that shows different Applications for LabVIEW

There recently was a competition amongst Application Engineers on different ways to use the Arduino board and program it with LabVIEW for different projects.  I was just thinking about the spash screen and how cool it would be if it included a link to a Youtube channel of different projects AE's or others had completed using LabVIEW.  It would be a powerful way to spread ideas, if the videos were screened by marketing and well made.

The splash screen already has two links for news and technical content. Some of the links there are videos. I think you should be making your suggestion to whom ever at NI is responsible for those blogs.

Note that there is a distinct difference between a splash screen (or window) and the Getting Started window.

Why would you want the link on the Splash Screen instead of just in the RSS feeds on the Getting Started Window? If you are interested in promoting something through the GSW then this should be an internal discussion with those blog owners (come talk to me about this). If you are suggesting that we add functionality to the actual Splash Screen then I think this idea can be fleshed out as to why you think this needs to change.

No, I actually meant the GSW.  My mistake.

I am going to close this idea since this is an internal process. If you want content created by AE to be highlighted on the GSW then you can talk with the blog owners to do this. I'm sure they would be willing to discuss this option of including the links in their blog posts that are already syndicated with the LV GSW.
