I am fairly new to LabVIEW, but I have extensive experience with the Mentor Graphics DA/LMS schematic design tool. LabVIEW programming has many similarities to creating schematics. I think it could see a significant decrease in development time by being able to use the middle mouse button and draw symbols which will execute things like calling, creating, copying, and any commands that are frequently done repetitively. There could be a different stroke pattern to call each case structure, etc. User defined stroke command capability would also be a big plus. It is faster to draw a stroke pattern to call and set things than to click through any menus.
