Useless right-click option: convert case structure to stacked sequence

Status: New

Right-clicking on a case structure, we still have the option to convert a case structure to a stacked sequence.

I would prefer if this option would disappear without a trace forever :D. It has no purpose in life!

Nobody should ever use that option! It makes no sense!!! 😄

(I would probably retain the option to convert a stacked sequence to a case structure)

I just used it. Someone built one of those state machine contraptions and after staring at it, I realized that all the states were executed sequentially. I converted the case to a stacked sequence and then converted that to a flat sequence and then deleted the sequence entirely. And then I clicked "clean up diagram". 🙂

But, I have to say, this is the first time I've ever had a use for it.

To Aristos Queue:

Well... what if the Stacked Sequence Structure was replaced with a Flat Sequence?

That would have saved you one step.  And Flat Sequences are not as nasty as their stacked cousin...

This probably can be considered a menu choice that is so very rarely used by only a few people.  Right now we know of one person who has used it once.  Though I can see how it can be very useful in that odd situation.  Rather than allocating valuable right click menu space for it, it should probably just made into a right click framework tool so that you only install it if you feel you really need it.

I fully agree with AQ that there are legitimate uses of this option. In fact I used it a while ago. 😄

(I am officially withdrawing this idea.)

Perhaps it could move off the right-click menu to save space but we could keep the functionality by moving it to a macro in the quick-drop tool?
