My mouse (Logitech) has a scroll wheel that also has the Left & Right scroll ability.  Labview does not natively support.  why?

This sounds like a duplicate of this idea.

I'm just giving the second comment:

" Pconrad ...         Horizontal scrolling mice (mice that you can tilt the wheel left or right) are also not supported."

it's own headline i guess.  but it was originally posted here.

But i don't agree with the idea of adding another hotkey sequence for something that is already seamlessly handled by other applications...

I'm probably considered an abuser of the CTRL+SHIFT Drag method for scrolling the block diagrams, ( I inherited a spaghetti nightmare) and i already try to use CTRL + W to close my Word and Excel documents.   🙂

The side-scrolling does work in almost every windows application.... except LabVIEW.

I can't see any reason why it is not supported in LabVIEW. I really miss this feature. If you have to work with a small monitor you have to scroll sideward very often.

Pleas activate the side-scrolling buttons of the mouse in LabVIEW.
