Ive been having a lot of trouble trying to get labview to recognise the com port connection from the arduino board. After the LIVFA Base program has been oploaded to the board, the com port gets detected. Once I set up the VI on Lab VIEW and bring in the 'INIT' control icon into the window (and susequently create a contant on the pin for the com port) it does not recognise a connection to any port. Ive made sure the arduino software isnt running in the background and have went as far as re-installing lab VIEW. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
