Can LIFA work with Microchip's UNO32 and MAX32?

These are new Arduino-compatible boards from Microchip.  I'm curious if LIFA is able to work with these boards.  I'm not sure how tightly bound LIFA is with the specific Arduino boards and/or development environments.  Some info from the Microchip site is below.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The chipKIT™ UNO32™ and MAX32™ development boards are the first
32-bit-microcontroller-based platforms that are compatible with existing Arduino hardware and software.
K1200LTrider,
From the limited research that I've done on these boards it seems like the tookit should be compatible with these....one way to find out, I just ordered the MAX32.
That'll be great to hear your results either way.  If LIFA does work with one or both boards, I'll definitely be spreading the word on various Arduino-related boards about trying LabVIEW with them.  And I'll be buying at least one of each of those boards for LabVIEW projects.  I have a pretty cool project in mind to automate the launching of a large water rocket that I have at home (to include filling with water, pressurizing with air, counting down with a large clock, and launching).
Thanks,
Brad
Brad,
That sounds pretty awesome.  I'll make sure to post back here as soon as I get the board and have some results.
A reply from Digilent:
Hello Sir,
The LabView Arduino project should be compatible with ourboards. There is currently a bug in our Servo library that will prevent thisproject from building. Once we have corrected this bug then the interfaceshould be compatible.
Brad,
This is good news.  I'll confirm this when I get my board.
Good Morning,
I have the chipkit Max32 and I haven't been able to get it to communicate with labview. I have tried both the arduino ide and the mplab ide from the digilent website.
For the Arduino program, I chose the Arduino Mega2560 board and then followed the directions from NI. When I tried to upload, it asks me if I chose the correct processor. So I know it is communicating with the board.
Using the Digilent Mplab ide, I can choose the Max32 board, follow the directions from NI, and then get a bunch of errors. I can post those errors later today.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Scott
Scott,
You will certainly need to use MPIDE for the chipkit.  This environment was made to look almost identical to the arduino IDE but it uses a completely different toolchain on the back end.  If you read the posts above you'll see that there is  currently a bug in the MPIDE servo library that prevents the LIFA firmware from compiling.  Once Mircochip fixes this you should be good to go with your ChipKit and LIFA.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Hey Sam,
Cool, thanks. Any idea on how long that fix is gonna take? No big deal, just curious.
Thanks,
Scott
Scott,
Unfortunalty since we don't make the boards or IDE I have no idea.  You could email someone at digilent or microchip to see if they have an ETA (althought I'm not sure who you would contact).
