Hello All
I've installed the VI Package Manager....
Now I'm within the PAckage Manager trying to install the 'LabVIEW Interface for Arduino'....
The install starts and gets about half way on the progress bar and then it fails saying it couldn't be dowenloaded. This has happened like 20 times.
I watched the process and I could see that the package manager is connecting to ftp.ni.com....
I managed to connect to the ftp server and grab the three files associated with the Interface for Arduino...
Is there a method have the Pacakge Manager work from the local files instead of trying to connect to the ftp.ni.com site?
HELP!

Robert,
I don't know much about the internal of VIPM but if you got the .vip file you should be able to just double click it to open and install it with VIPM.
Let us know if this works for you.

This happened to me also but only 3-4 times. After then it just completed in one go. May be server busy try after sometime Or try re-nstalling VPIM again.
Hope this helps.

That is strange. The .vip file contains everything you need without downloading anything. This may sound trivial but are you executing it directly from a folder on your hard drive?
