What do you plan to do with the toolkit?

hi,

can we make programme by labview to download in arduino? that programme can run standalone in arduino?

That's not the intend of this toolkit. What you ask for is an entirely different (and quite more expensive product) that NI doubtlessly has looked into already but that I feel is unlikely to be released soon. The reason for this is that the work needed for this is rather extensive. Some people may think that it is really just about throwing in some compile switches and ready! However that is far from true.

There are two possible approaches to reach what you ask for. One is based on the LabVIEW Embedded Microprocessor Toolkit (a prohibitively prices Toolkit) and adapt it to the Arduino Toolchain. This work could theoretically be done by some outside party but it is a lot of work to get the integration to a point where it is mostly seamless. And the potential market is very limited for a tool like that with a professional price tag and providing it almost for free is very unlikely as such developers would have to somehow offset the price of the Embedded Microprocessor Toolkit AND their own time which is likely in the order of many man months of work. If I had 100k to spend without need for some income I might consider such a thing but that is obviously utopia.

The other approach would be that NI creates a specific LabVIEW for Arduino Runtime version and adds a cross compiler option to the LabVIEW compiler much like what they do for their cRIO and other RT systems. However that costs A LOT of money. Money they earn with the sales of said cRIO and other hardware. Creating such a version of LabVIEW would be double counterproductive for NI. It would not generate any income from sales of the Arduino hardware for them AND cannibalize their RT hardware sales. There is simply no business reason for this approach! Of course we all would like that but just because 1000ds of people want something does seldom mean that it happens if there is no money to be made of that idea.

Unable to download our program to arduino and requires discucion open another topic, in any case you can work with NI LabVIEW Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers presenting labview compatible microcontrollers, attached links
