We are looking to develop monitoring, controls and data acquisition for a remotely operated laboratory containing a number of vessels and gas supplies. We are looking for a user interface that will display process variables visually on screen (pressure, temperatures), allow control and monitoring of actuators (valves, ...), and have an integrated scripting language to support and develop multiple processes for operating the laboratory. Additionally, we would like to be able to write data to a disk, and be able to perform mathematical operations and use case statements in the scripting language. Any information about the possibility and ease of using LabVIEW MathScript to perform any of these tasks would be appreciated. I also have a more detailed list of specific requirements I can provide if needed to further determine the possibility of using this product for control.
