It seems there is a bug in german version when selecting an item in Quick Change list.

Thank you for reporting this issue, Nikhil! I filed Bug 2490651 to track it.

Christina hi,

Currently I am working on LV 2020 SP1. Today, just out of curiosity I installed LV 2023 and start looking for new features. I never worked with Quick Drop or Quick Change Label to Object functions and decided to learn more about it. The selection window I see on your demo is very different from what I am getting  on my computer. I have, practically list of all functions and navigate through all of them takes time, so I would not refer it as "Quick". Just going to pallet takes much less time. Besides, I my humble opinion, this function contradicts the whole philosophy of LabVIEW as being graphical programing environment. Strictly speaking, the LabVIEW is more schematic capture or PC board layout platform than programing.

another new feature I would like to comment is the "ZOOM" function. It opens doors for avoiding wrapping up code into subVIs. I experienced such problems and it was very negative.

There are many places where LabVIEW can be improved.

 Best,

Oleg Finodeyev

You can type text in the Quick Drop window to narrow down the list. Also, once the top item in the list matches what you want, you can click in the VI to drop the item where you clicked. Many LabVIEW programmers who love the graphical nature of LabVIEW (like myself) find that dropping items with the keyboard, particularly without having to move hands from mouse to keyboard, allows us to create those graphical diagrams much faster than navigating through the palettes.
