I would like to interface some custom sensors to the Lego EV3 brick. Can LabView 2013 be used to build Blocks for Lego LabView EV3 software?

The NXT version had an add on, either toolkit or module for this.
I am asking about the latest version of software for the EV3. My Block is not capable and I understand an add on for the EV3 software will be released middle of next year.
So, back to my original question, can LabView 2013 work to develop custom sensor software that can build compatible Blocks in the mean time?

Hello,
Unfortunately, LabVIEW 2013 currently does not support creating Blocks for the EV3 software.

Hi
May I ask if it is possible to control EV3 directly from LabVIEW? Sorry for asking in existing thread but I thought both questions are good to be placed in single theread.

Hi,
It is not possible to control the EV3 directly from LabVIEW at this time.

I heard that the EV3 module for LabView is due April 2014.
Any news NI?
Thank you.

Please note Mac OSX users using LabView 2013 Student Edition -- you CAN use the new EV3 modules but you must install f1 patch first.
