The text “File error” appears on the screen on the front panel of the NXT after downloading from Labview- there is no error code showing
Each vi to be downloaded has a filename when created and it runs through the compiling window ok and shows “Download complete”
But the NXT will not run
When we check the software installed on the NXT the .rxe file is there but empty and with no Filename
We are using the Labview Toolkit for Lego Mindstorms NXT on OS Windows 7.
We are using NXT Software v1.1
It is happening for various programs the students develop.
We deleted the current version of the Labview Software and reinstalled 2012 from installation discs.
We did a mass Compile on the NXT Toolkit but still problem occurring.
We checked all the updates to the PCs over the last number of weeks and ran a number of tests, deleting updates that were downloaded around the first day the problem appeared on a number of machines, but still the problem continues.
From searching discussion forums etc on line we did find 1 query which also described a .rxe file being loaded with no filename and empty – Post 3 – maybe helpful
