Recreating the Vision Center

I am working on recreating the Vision Center vi in RoboLab 4.9.
Currently my Vision Center vi: Threshold, MorphOpen, MorphClose, MorphProperOpen, MorphProperClose, MorphThin and Inverts causes a clear outline.
When I try to recreate it in RoboLab, I have trouble figuring out if, it is truly binary. I have attached both vi’s. Ultimately, I will address the outline in the image and have the Lego motors draw it in pencil. The outline created in Vision Center needs to be my working image. At this point, it can only be exported out of Vision Center by right clicking on the image. So I must recreate Vision Center in RoboLab.

Hello Artisthos,

Could you also provide the LLB for those subVIs (Threshold, MorphOpen,...etc) so I can open your Vision Center VI?

Is the issue you are having trying to recreate your Vision Center VI in Robolab? Robolab is not officially supported by National Instruments. You may want to contact Robolab support http://www.lego.com/eng/education/mindstorms/home.asp?menu=support&pagename=support

Thanks for your reply. I have posted my questions also onhttp://forums.nxtasy.org/index.php?showtopic=1340and http://news.lugnet.com/robotics/rcx/robolab/and hope to find help there. I will end my posting on the Labview site with this post.I was able to adapt GPS8.vi in the GPS_Camera8.llb part of:http://www.convict.lu/Jeunes/Robo_Soccer/Robo_Soccer2.htm

from Claude Baumann of the Convict School in Luxembourg to perform the Vision Center process.

http://tomlohre.com/lego.htm has my work to date.

I am still trying to discover how to create an LLB.

The program still has many things I have to work out but this is a real step forward and consider it a Red Letter Day.At this point I do not know the details of addressing the pixels and feeding the information to the motors but it should go rather quickly now.Maybe by January I can have my drawing robot operating and start refining the output. Thanks for this forum. Many times just posting it solves the problem. Learning the complexities of vision analysis seemed impossible years ago but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.I look forward to switching over to Labview and National Instruments camera and hardware.
