nxt toolkit on linux?

hi-

i'd like to install the lego nxt toolkit to use with labview 8.2 on my linux laptop.  does anyone have any advice on how to do this?  is it possible to unpack the windows or mac versions and copy the files to the right place?  and if so, what is the right place?

Hi John,

I apologize for the delayed response.

While installing the NXT Toolkit on a Linux box is not supported, it is possible it could work. Our internal testing never included Linux or Mac, but users have been successful installing on Macintosh computers.

To do so, simply put the files in the spot defined by Windows (C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW X.X\vi.lib\addons). If it works, we'd love to hear it. If it doesn't, we apologize and would like to know exactly what went wrong.

Cheers.

Hi,

I tried to put the files from C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW X.X\vi.lib\addons to Linux folder. After startup LabVIEW, the icons representing the function was really there, but if I try to place the icon on block diagram - search window shows. It searches for "fantom.so". I was not able to find this file, so program was not able to start.

Does anyone solve it?
