2 front panel controls with one control on the block diagram

Solved!

Hello all,

Is it possible to use 2 controls on the front panel which control the same control on the block diagram?

So to have some kind of parallel control.

Thank you in advance.

Not that I can think of. But if you use the "event structure", you can have two controls trigger the same event, and thereby produce the required value change for your "driven" function. What, "functionally" are you attempting to do?

I want to be able to change the setting of a furnace using RS485 on two panels: one overview panel and one specific panel for the furnace.

You can just write to both indicators.

By the way, you should check out this idea on the Idea Exchange.  If you like it, give it a Kudo.

I don't want to use indicators but both controls.

Sorry, misread.  As mentioned before, use an event structure.  You can have the event structure handle both controls in the same event case.
