Hi Ben,

... Regarding the issue above there is no CAR yet, I will let you know as soon as we will create one.

I hope I managed to answer all your questions so far.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,

Barna

In reply #6 you said it was known and R&D was working on it.

I keep in touch with Roy F. via a private forum to track bugs and without a CAR# there is no way to track it. So please post the CAR.

Thank you,

Ben

Hi Ben,

Maybe it is my English, so let me clarify the CAR questions. I hope I'll do a better job now :).

Ceties said that he has problem with 3D Graph cause it is not redrawing if he is turning on/off one plot (issue #1). Than he mentioned that when writing the plot in 3D Graph value property node (not in the indicator) the behavior of the graph is even stranger (issue #2).

So what I wanted to communicate with my answers is the following:

- issue #1 behavior was already reported to R&D (CAR#189327) and they are investigating the issue.

- issue #2 I did not find report on this, but I've started an internal discussion on this topic. In case it will turn into a CAR, I will let you know.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Barna

A CAR number or lacking that, a brain that will remind me to follow-up on this issue. Smiley Tongue

Hi Ben,

CAR#200288 was filed on 3D Line Graph Value property node strange behavior.

Please use Local Variable instead of Value property node till the issue is going to be addressed.

Thanks,

Barna

This mandates the update happen in the VI withthe 3d graph. That is a major architectural restriction there.

Hi Ben,

You are right,  however in that case you could use Queue to transfer data to the 3D Graph.

I know how to move data around.

My point was and is that a 'work-around" that forces an architecture changes is hardly a work-around.

Hi Ceties,

you are right this bug is still not fixed in Labview 2010 version. However the CAR is still open, which means that NI RnD team is still working on fixing this issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
