Did you mean:

3D graph "control code could not be loaded"

I can't seem to get the 3d Graphs to work with LabVIEW 6.1 (they seem fine on the same PC with 5.1) - all I get is a control with the text "Control Could not be Loaded" in it. I've confirmed this problem with both my Windows2000 and XP PCs - help!

cheers,
Christopher

I'm not exactly sure why this could be happening, but it could be a corrupt install. I have heard of the CW 3D Graph causing this error before, and it was fixed by repairing the install.

To do so, launch the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel applet and select NI LabVIEW 6.1. On Windows NT/9x, click the Add/Remove button and then select Repair. On Windows XP/2000, click the Change button and then select Repair.

I am running Windows 2000 and it seems to work fine for me. I was able to place all 3 types of 3D Graphs to my front panel with no problem, so that's what leads me to believe it's a bad install.

Thanks for your answer - it turns out all I had to do was repair the RTE install - and now it's fine.

I found the same problem with LV 7.0. The solution in my case was to re-install 7.0 and remove LV 6.1 from the computer. I don't know whether the re-install of 7.o is necessary

Bonne Chance
