Problem: The 3D sensor mapping express VI has some great capabilities, it is unfortunately limited by the GUI-driven configuration of 3D model and sensor locations. I would like to be able to programmatically supply the input data in order to be able to change the 3D model and/or supply a large number of sensors.
The same question seem to pop up once in a while but I have yet to see a solution. I have searched extensively and also tried to dig into the associated libraries but the code is quite complex and convoluted. I am sure the necessary changes would be trivial for the NI developer that worked on it, I was hoping for an update all these years from the original release. Anyway, I am wondering if someone managed to find/create a solution or a LabVIEW-frendly alternative.
