JP,
Not sure exactly how to reproduce your environment. Are you saying a error cluster with the borders expanded exhibits these results? I tried dreating one (and error cluster) and expanding it to +200X+5000 (why do you need a cluster several screens wide?) and it hasn't exhibited the symptoms you described, it is just a REALLY big error cluster.
P.M.

JP,
I seem to recall seeing something like this once, about 1 - 1/2 years ago. It was for an RF project where we stored various measurement data in a cluster before being processed. A rather large cluster... well... relatively speaking, of course. The cluster was created to keep the vi clean when running the wires.
It occurred only once and I didn't pay attention to it. It was on XP, with LV7.0. It's too long ago now to recall any pertinent details. I just thought it looked weird at the time. What I do recall was the error cluster not having it's 3-D box. I cannot recall any of the other boxed, though. I do seem to recall that there was a large table which was displaying measurement data and displaying any out-of-bound measurements in RED. It was part of an RF tuning process over a frequency range. I don't remember seeing anything odd with that table..
Too long ago.... sorry.... π
However... I seem to recall that the only thing on that particular Front Panel which was displayed was the table and the error in / error out boxes. The rest was off the screen as not-pertinent to the operator to see. Which may explain why I would not have seen anything else.
Wish I could help you more, buddy!
The PC's were equipped with standard ATI graphic cards, nothing special and the "regular" versions from 2 years ago. I doubt it is related to display.. Is it a bug?? Dunno.... Maybe the vi didn't have time to refresh the display... π In our case, the table was displayed for a few seconds, only, while being filled-up with data...
So, you're saying that this behaviour is reproducible??? "Fascinating" - Spock
