4808 output on +/- 1000 V not switching on

When switching to the +1000V and -1000 and -100 the Wavetek multie function calibrator 4808 will not output the voltage in question. The measuring range I use starts with +1 V then +10 V then +100 ( all work perfect ) +1000 V , -1000V , -100 V ( will not switch on ) then -10 V and the last one is -1 Volt, the last 2 work again. The Voltage driver is set to TRUE.
Can someone drp meahint on how to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

What driver are you using and where did it come from? NI doesn't list anything for a Wavetek 4808. If this is a driver provided by Wavetek, you might wnat to check with them.

Most instruments will generate an error if incorrectly programmed. Check to see if there is an errory query command and run it. Can you pause the program and manually set the voltage? If you can't it's possible that the instrument is in some state that prevents it from changing. The error query would help here. If you can change manually, double check the syntax of the command being sent. It's possible that the driver has a bug in where the correct command is not being sent. Try to send the correct command in MAX.

Dennis,

This program has been used in the last 4 years on a regular basis. I just took over this job and found out that the 4808 isn't working correctly, it is used to check the Keithley 237's voltage source, and the 237 gives an compliance error on the 1000 V , -1000 V , and the -100. ( maybe I should find out first why this is ) Will the 4808 will not output the voltage because of this? I have to resolve this problem first I think.

Thanks for your response.
