If you find there are errors where you need to cycle power then I suggest you look at the SMU firmware version you are running and see if there are updates. New firmware might fix the problems you are having. The K2450s have been around for quite a few years now, so they shouldn't hang on any errors. Explore the Tektronix (Keithley parent company) forums for solutions.
