I am on the hunt for a system to learn Labview and connect to real devices on a low budget of $500-$1000. Based on what I have scene online and here for projects people seem to be using 6000/6001 or 6008/6009 DAQs to learn on however these do not come with any resistors or test circuitry. Is there a kit of wires and boards that anyone would recommend or list of basic projects? I also found the myDAQ which seams to be for university students but I can't tell if the kit comes with wires and board or works with LabVIEW(although I think it probably does). I did find a list of MyDAQ projects though which is nice. So the question is for a basic set up which would you choose to gain familiarity with LabVIEW controlling circuits and taking readings...
myDAQ $490

USB 6000 $240

USB 6009 (can't find NI price)

This kit is referenced in many of the myDAQ project requirements:

The link I posted appears to be specifically for myRIO...not myDAQ, which are two different devices.

This board on the same site connects to the 20-pin output present on the myDAQ:

It's cheaper but doesn't come with any components, parts, wires, etc. Combining that with the one you linked, or just a general kit for breadboard components might be what they're looking for.

That's a really interesting option. I have had no luck finding a exact parts kit as the one one mentioned above apparently is for a different device ...although I think it still would work for some projects.
