What's in the other cases?

Why is the indicator terminal orange?

Why don't you simply attach the VI instead?

I have an instrument (DMM) which communicates the segments of the display. So, to reconstruct the value displayed, it is necessary to perform exactly this kind of reverse computation. Of course that device also had several other symbols on the display to complicate things. I used a lookup table.
