Hi add_b,

when the file is missing then it can't run Smiley Wink

Don't you think you have to give some more information to get useful answers?

Best regards,

A Google search on vcl.50.bpl indicates this has to do with the Borland Package Library. Have no idea what this would have to do with the LabVIEW Runtime.

Have you tried reinstalling/repairing the 8.5 installation?

I've never hear about a "runengine", do you mean the "runtime engine"?

You also don't "run" the runtime engine, just install it. It will be used automatically when running a built standalone LabVIEW application.

Maybe the application needs some resources that the programmer failed to include with the installer. Did you get an installer or just the executable? Where do you get the application from? Do you receive some documentation with it?

It's probably best to contact the original author of the program. Have you tried?
