8.6 evaluation application builder

Hi,

I have been using LabVIEW 8.2 to develop a program unfortunately in the last couple of days my computer has had some problems and as a result I need to reinstall labview. This at first seemed simple, except the person who has all our labview CD's license etc etc is away on holiday for the next two weeks!

I decided to download the 30 day 8.6 trial and install it, I have done this I also installed the application builder I assumed that this would work under the evaluation version but it does not seem to be I get the warning that the plugin is not installed or has an expired license. Is this how it should be?

I still have the licenses for 8.2 and I would assume if I could find a download for this version I could activate it using this license and have the same setup as before. Is this correct? and does any one know where I can find a version of 8.2 for download?

You cannot (legally) download LabVIEW 8.2. It does not sound as if you are ready to move to LabVIEW 8.6, regardless of the situation with your "plugin", so it seems to me that given the fact that your CDs are with someone else who is on vacation (!!!), then you should try to contact your local NI sales rep and they may be able to help you out.
