9219 returns an exact 25mA when using it with ultrasound level meter

Hi all,

I am using the 9219 C seriese module with ultrasound level meter, the meter returns 4-20 mA, when I connect the sensor to the 9219 module at always returns 25mA shrap regardless what is the level, I tried to connect the meter to 9203 module, it reads the signal ok. however I need to connect the meter to 9219 module.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried to measure another current source?

Wrong connection? Wrong DAQ setup?

Hello,

I have an analog output module -20-20mA and I generated a signal from it and I read it from the 9219 without problems

Is the voltage reading on the 9203 indeed below 25mA as expected, or is it reading a larger voltage?  When you mention a 25mA shrap, is this the same as a railing/clipping signal that holds at 25mA?  Are you using the 9219 as a Current input, or have you configured it for any other type of input?  Are you connecting the signals to terminals 3 (+) and 5 (-)?
