Here is an example on our community website that should be able to help.  This method implements hardware timing and allows the user to implement a delay between AI and AO.  The delay is necessary because there must always be data in the buffer for generation.  Otherwise, you will receive an error on the analog input.  Take a look at this and let me know if this helps at all.

I was able to use the example and get about 500 Hz. Over that I get an error, but that is a lot faster than I was getting before using your example. Here is the completed application in case it helps someone else. It uses a pid control and reads in a voltage, then adjust the voltage out.
