A dynamic link library (dll) initialization routine failed

Hi,

I'm upgrading from LV 6.1 to 7.1 and I have problems to load some dlls (nihsdl and lvdaq) that i use in many Vis (specifically, i use hsdl VIs): Error loading "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabView 7.1\vi.lib\daq\lvdaq.dll." A dynamic link library (dll) initialization routine failed. I have found in http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=21264&requireLogin=False that The solution is to set the permissions so that the user has "write" privileges to the directory "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\", in addition to "read", "list", and "execute" rights. However, it does not work in spite of having administrator privileges (we have LV Full Dev System). Moreover, I've tried to update the load from the dll's icons by the menu option "configure". Could someone give any idea, please? Thank you so much and sorry for my english.

Actually the comments you put in question.... regarding the permission rights...helped me..My case was bit simpler.

I was logging in as a different user on LV 7.11 program & EXE, and having this error.

Upon having the administator changing the access rights of National Instruments folder & subfolders solved my problem...
