AGPNA driver with Agilent E5071B?

Has anyone successfully used an Agilent ENA Spectrum Analyser with the AGPNA driver? I've just started looking at it, but the example programs do not execute cleanly (Invalid Parameter, Unterminated Query etc errors on the analyser).

Even basic functions such as "AGPNA Set Trigger Sweep Signal.vi" seem to be using SCPI commands which do not appear in the ENA Series Programmer's Guide.

TIA, Geoff Short

Geoff,
Thank you for notifying us of this issue. We completed the Agilent PNA series driver at the end of last year and only had a PNA model to test with. We listed support for the ENA family in this driver as there was a fair amount of overlap in the command sets. I am interested in fully updating and testing this driver with the ENA family, however I am having difficulty in obtaining an ENA for this purpose. If you, or anyone else, is interested in loaning this instrument to NI for the purpose of updating and testing this driver, please let me know. In the meantime, I will remove the driver's claim of support for the ENA instrument models.

Thanks,
Jason Hobbs

Thanks for this information. The Agilent web site has the "E5070B/E5071B Programmer's Guide" and a "8753 to ENA code conversion assistant" available to download.

I cannot offer you our analyser on loan, but I could probably do some testing of code.
