AI Calibration Verification for PCI-6221 and other M Series cards

Does anyone have a VI to verify calibration for M series DAQ cards (PCI-6221)?  I have seen a vi to calibrate the card with an external source but am looking for a VI to verify the analog inputs meet the table limits in the calibration procedure.

Hi Jimmy,

Our cards are guaranteed to be within the specs listed in the absolute accuracy table on page four of your product manual within one year of an external calibration. Also, the page I believe you are looking at in the Calibration Procedures document (page 52) gives good information about how your M-series will perform after 24 hours and one year from calibration. There are no VIs that verify automatically that these ranges are what your signal will fall in but they are guaranteed. If you wanted to build a VI that did this I would recommend following the Calibration Procedures document and have a VI that takes multiple samples off of a precision source and compare that with expected values calculated from the accuracy table. The key is that you would need an external source to achieve this verification beyond the guarantee from National Instruments. Please refer to ni.com/calibration for more information and the following two documents.
