AI Sample Channel for a temperature meassurement

I try to figure out where I can find the AI Sample Channel for a temperature meassurement.In the book it says I find it in the functions but there is no chance. Thanks danip

If I understand your question right, you are searching for the Data acquisition VIs in your function-plaette. These VIs are installed with the NI-DAQ driver. Please install the driver on your machine, and make sure that you activate the support for LabView selection, so that these VIs arre installed.
