AI Voltage slow response

I am having trouble setting up Labview to read AI Voltage. I recently switched to a PCI 6229 board (from 6221) and my old labview programs no longer work. When I switch from (for example) reading Dev1/ai0 to Dev1/ai1 the signal takes an extremely long time -- on the order of minutes -- to settle down to a value, as if there is some very large RC component in the circuit. Thus it is impossible to sample multiple channels at once. I tried opening the test panels for Dev1 and the same thing happens. Any idea as to what is going on? Thanks,

Hi mktrias,

This is an interesting issue, which I have not seen before. It sounds like the card is broken. How old is the card and has it worked in other computers? Do you have other 6229’s which you can compare results against? Does this happen on all channels or just one? Please try reading a battery voltage, so we know the source has a stable signal. If you believe the card is bad, please call our sales team at 1-800-433-3488, who can help you bring the card in for repair.
