Integrator
Location: Shanghai
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Business Manager, this position has responsibility for
assigned project deliveries and assigned project task completion. These responsibilities will be carried out
using the appropriate ATA project management and software management
procedures. Project related
responsibilities include completing assigned tasks in an appropriate manner
within the prescribed time and on budget.
Responsibilities also extend to aiding sales efforts, technical
evaluations of new projects, estimating project costs, liaising with customers,
and providing customer service for existing projects.
· Engineering and
technology background and hands-on experience, with demonstrated innovation and
creativity.
· LabVIEW
programming experience and National Instrument’s hardware experience
· Strong computer,
electrical, and hardware skills
Project delivery
- Determine customer requirements and functional specifications
through discussions with the customer
- Project management of small to medium sized projects
o
Complete project tasks as part of a project team
o
Perform a "Project risk
assessment" at the project planning stage and at various points throughout
the project in order to focus attention on potential pitfalls.
- Deliver professional quality projects on time/on budget/on target
- Monitor your project’s schedule, cost, and completion
- Follow ATA project management, workflow practices, and software
development practices on ALL projects.
- Communicate regularly
with management/team leader on project status so any action needed can be
taken.
- Generate appropriate documentation including project
documentation, timesheets, expense reports etc…
Sales and marketing
- Aid sales department in sales efforts by providing technical
assistance in sales calls when required.
- Contribute to potential project technical evaluations.
- Estimate small to medium size project costs. Contribute to estimating large project
costs.
- Develop complete
proposals when required for new prospects and submit for management
review prior to sending to customers.
- Provide customer service and technical help for completed projects.
- Maintain and nurture customer relationships.
- Look for new business opportunities at existing customers sites.
Teamwork and people/organization
- Participate as a team member with other groups within the ATA
organization between all functions and disciplines.
- Attend and actively participate in development team meetings in
order to exchange problems/challenges/solutions.
- Abide by ATA
software development standards and practices
- Maintain
and improve relationships with existing Clients, including feedback loops
on potential future improvements.
- Qualifications
- Graduate
engineer with 2 to 5 years experience
- Hands-on
experience with electrical and hardware systems
- Computer
programming experience (LabVIEW experience desired)
