Access 7813R in LabVIEW

Hi there,

I wanted to use my 7813R unit in LabVIEW for input and output of digital signals. However I don't know how to access it in LabVIEW.

Can someone tell me how to get LabVIEW to recognise the 7813R for aquiring and outputting signals?

Thanks,

Atommic

It requires the purchase of the LabVIEW FPGA module besides LabVIEW. Do you have that?

Yes I have the NI-7813R FPGA module. I think I have to set up some kind of FPGA target.

Ok I was able to interface it in LabVIEW. However, if tehre are 68 lines on the SCSI plugs, why are there only 39 channels acessable? Where are the other 29 channels? Are they ground references?

Have you had a look at the manual? (probably the first thing an engineer must do)

NI 781xR User Manual

They are 40 DIO lines, one line for +5V, the other for -5V and the rest are DGND.
