Hi I am currently trying to access an Eurotherm 2416 PID controller via labview to make the ineraction with it easier. I connected the device with an RS232 cable to my pc and I can access it via Eurotherm iTools.
I also downloaded the et24xx driver from the NI website. NI Max is able to detect the device and I can also operate a VISA write function. But when I try to do a read command there is an timeout error. (Hex 0xBFFF0015) The same error occurs when I try to start the initialize VI from the et24xx driver. I did not modify the driver, which is attached to this message. I am using the LabView 2018 version.
Has anybody expierienced something like that and is able to help me? I am new to programming with labview, so if you need further information to answer the question you can also suggst that.
