Thanks for all that info.
The camera is 15fps max, but was set to 2fps.
If I set it to 15fps and the timing in Labview to 1 ms, the camera crashes, so I have to limit it myself.
Note that this little experiment was done on this PC that runs office, email etc, and the camera is also still connected to a video server with H264.
At least I have a picture now, something to start with. Great.
I will try after a few weeks, busy on something else now.
