I haven't downloaded the software but the website you linked mentions that it has an instrument driver for the LabVIEW development environment (it also looks like it has a C API). You would have to call Thorlabs to know which calls you need to make but that is what you would want to do in LabVIEW.

I think I'll do that then. And maybe there is an hidden feature on the software that  allow to increase the period of scans.
