Active filter in NI Labview only

If you are not familiar with the math in the Wikipedia article, I doubt anyone will be able to give you anything which you would find useful. The basic mathematics of transfer functions  seems like something that should have been covered before getting to courses with numbers starting with 3.

A reasonable discussion of "...Passive and active analog filters 1. LPF, HPF 2. BPF, BSF. All pass filter..." can easily occupy an entire course by itself.

The .pdf file you posted does not say anything about simulating analog filters.

<Opinion>  If the course is supposed to teach LabVIEW, it would be better to avoid the use of Express VIs and the associated Dynamic Data Type. The limitations they impose will only limit your ability to learn good programming practices and to learn the full power of the LabVIEW programming language.
