ActiveX Controls. Help, I have old LabView instructions that dont translate well into LV2010!

I'm following a tutorial for a product I own, but the instructions are written in an old version of LabView. Attached is the entire page, which includes the image below. The part I am getting stuck on is inside the stacked sequence. The instructions read that I am supposed to create an activeX node, Wait on activeX node, and finally a Destroy ActiveX event Queue node. It seems as if these VI's are old, and no longer exist. Does anyone know how to accomplish this task using current VI's?

Greetings,

I would take a look at this document:

https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview/page/using-activex-with-labview.html

I'd also suggest looking at theActiveX Event Callback for Excel.vi example in help>> Find Examples in LabVIEW. You can find it easily by searching for activeX in the example finder.
