ActiveX Labview Tree example

When i open the familytree.vi example LABVIEW 7.0 can't open load the control.
How can i use the tree obcet ? Why this object is not loaded.
I'm working with Windows XP SP1.

Hi,
the example you are mentioning should work just fine on a Windows XP machine with SP1 installed. I tried to open it on a similar machine and did not find any problem whatsoever.
The control should be correctly registered on your machine. To check if it is registered, just create a new VI and drop an activeX container on the front panel. Right click on it and select Insert ActiveX Object... browse the list for Microsoft TreeView Control. If you find it the try to use it and see if the problem is still there.

Hi,
I tried to insert the "Microsoft TreeView Control 6.0 (SP4)" and "Microsoft TreeView Control,version 5.0 (SP2)" in the ActiveX container but Labview don't open the objet and show the following message "Error Inserting ActiveX obeject : la classe non dispone della licenza di utilizzo".
