ActiveX access to EXE controls / indicators?

Hi Community,

I have some in-house developped labview exe, and I'd like to have a read access to some of the front panel controls / indicators. For various reasons we dont want to modify the source code. Is there a way to access the controls / indicators via ActiveX or .NET? (I know that openning a VI reference in an EXE is not an option after LV 8.6 or so)
