ActiveX containers on a tabcontrol failes

I placed an ActiveX control on a tabcontrol. For instance the 3D
surface graph but it's a problem in general with this combination. The
same problem occurs with a tabcontrol and an ActiveX container
containing Microsofts CommonDialog. The problem is that the ActiveX
control somehow stays visible after selecting another page on the
tabcontrol. You can not make it behave like an ordinary non ActiveX
control. Sometimes it works and than after saving the program and
reloading it start behaving like i've written. Anyone experienced this
as well? Please let me know.

Check out the following KnowlegeBase for a workaround in 6.0.2:

The stupid thing is, I am using Labview 6.1 and that is what the
recommend as a solution. I don't know how exactly is behaved with
Labview 6.0 (6i?) but I understood from it that stays always on top
whatever you do. This is indeed not the case with 6.1, but only under
some, yet unknown, conditions and still very annoying. Thanks anyway.
