Adding and subtracting date strings

Ben, I don't think "collision" is the right term. Your huge post completely sank mine.
I'm kidding. I do know what it's like to write a long post and then find out that someone already wrote something similar as you were writing. To avoid this, I often right click on the message link and reopen the message in a new windows when I'm done writing to see if any more posts have been written. This has recently been facilitated by the View discussion in popup link that now exists above the post window.
I do plan to develop that code further as soon as I feel like it.

Hi Ben !

Thanks for this interesting contribution. We also use day light time saving in Europ. That give us a nice day in Autumn, when we can spend one more hour in bed, without feeling guilty... Some LV junkies should claim that this is their best day in the year, since it is possible to work 25 h/day.

In fact, I already knew about the issue, but since the question was about date, I didn't developped further. However, I nearly posted a bug report when I found that Sunday 30/10/2005 had something peculiar. Proposed title was "Sunday night fever ?". I simply had bumped into the day light time issue, as I discovered a few secs before posting and making a fool of myself !

I was ultimately remembered that the 23/25 hours/day issue was related to DTS because the problem appeared between 2 and 3 o'clock (not at midnight ! but the convention is different over the world - see here) and fortunately that timing had been somewhere preserved in my fadding memories.

We definitively need a Kooji-bird feather.vi to clear the situation.
