Aerotech u500 and LabView 5

I'm using LabVIEW 5.1 on Windows, and am attempting to control an
AeroTech u500 motion control box. The problem is that the drivers from
the control box (version 5.19) are written for LabVIEW 6 and higher. I
have tried opening the drivers in LabVIEW 6 and saving them for LabVIEW
5, but I keep ending up with a unconfigured Code Interface Node in core
driver VI. I cannot find an external code file to link to this node on
the installation CD for the drivers, and writing C is not my strong
point.

Has anyone written/modified drivers for LabVIEW 5 and a u500? If so,
can you post/e-mail/link to them? Alternately, has anyone succeeded in
backporting the LabVIEW 6 drivers to LabVIEW 5? If so, can you describe
what you did?

Thanks in a
dvance,
Zach Heaton

Zach,
Unfortunately, LabVIEW 5 is no longer supported via e-mail and phone since LabVIEW 7 released.
I hope you will be able to find a developer who has the drivers for LabVIEW 5.
