microes,

I just want to ensure that you have the proper drivers installed. You will need Agilent ESA PSA Series driver as well as the NI-VISA 3.2 driver.

Concerning the error that you are currently seeing, please reference the following KnowledgeBase: Why do I Receive Timeout Error -1073807339 on VISA Write?
