Have you checked with Agilent to see if there's any kind of driver for it? Have you checked with Agilent to see what documentation is available? Have you checked with Agilent to see if there's a programming interface (API) for it? Have you checked with Agilent to see ...

See a pattern here?

Agilent does have labview drivers specifically, only i can found dirver for windows, no more information is available. Now, i can see the instrument as virtual com.

I'm sorry, but I didn't understand your response. You're saying that Agilent does, or does not have LabVIEW drivers? If they do, then what is the issue?

If they do not, and the multimeter shows up as a virtual COM port, then you can communicate to it using VISA. You will need the programming manual for the instrument to find out what the commands are. Examples ship with LabVIEW on using VISA to do serial communication. I would also suggest you read this: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/2897

Agilent only gives a datalogger software. No more information neither labview code available. I would like to measure using labview.

You're going to need to start by getting the programming manual. It should be available on their web site. If you cannot find it, then contact them. Without that you're not going to get far.

Hi,

For the Agilent U125B the code for read is 46 45 54 43 3F 0A 0D 0A HEX or FETC?... in ASCII. I think that this code is the same for U1252A.

COM port configuration: 9600, none, 8 bits.

Without any type of programing information you are probably going to have to reverse engineer it.

Download their software and use a serial port sniffer like Portmon https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb896644.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 and moitor their software operation.

You might be able to capture and decode the commands and data format then use that in LabView.
