Allan variance and bias stability measurement?

Hello every one,

I would like to do some measurement on  MEMS microaccelerometers. They provide analog output voltage and are interface with a data acquisition board through the analog input channel.

Does any one know if there are predefined programs (routines) in LabView to measure the bias stability and plot the Allan Variance of the measured data?

I recall a question about Allan Variance being posted some time ago, although I do not recall whether any solutions were found. Have you searched the archives?

Thanks for the info.
I actually searched through the "advanced search" and didn't see any message for the Allan Variance measurement. This is the way to search the archives, isn't it?

Hello BVA,

I don’t believe there are any built in functions to do what you are looking for. However, it looks like a third party source has posted some code that will compute the Allan Variance for you.
