Ambient temperature measurement with SCXI-1303

I am using a SCXI-1102C with a SCXI-1303 to measure voltage and current sensors that I have defined as virtual channels. I also need to measure ambient temperature and I have tried to use the CJC sensor included in SCXI-1303. But, if I append the string ob0 ! sc1 ! md1 ! cjtemp as the first channel to read in the channel list passed to the AI Config.vi, I receive the error -10001 in AI Group Config. Is it possible to read the CJC sensor as a virtual channel at the same time I read the other virtual channels?.

It looks like you have a solution here ->

Thank you for your response.
I had read that link previous to my question. Based on it I put the string OB0!SC1!MD1!mtemp as the first channel of my channel list obtaining the aforementioned error.
I think the problem is that it is not possible to mix Max defined virtual channels with SCXI channel strings in the same group. Is it?

I have not tried it on NI-DAQ 7.0 yet, but usually you cannot mix Virtual Channels with those strings. It looks like you may be able to define a Virtual channel for the CJC though. The article mentions that the channel can be read "just like any other analog input" when you define your chassis, module, and terminal block type in MAX. I don't have any SCSI chassis in the office at the moment, but give it a try in MAX. See if there is any place where you can enter that channel string.
