Analog trigger on NI9218

Solved!
Go to solution

Goodmorning everybody.

Is it possible to use a 'start analog edge' trigger on NI9218 board?

If it is, what input should I specify in 'source'?

I'm trying to acquire data from an accelerometer using a CDAQ chassis and NI9218.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best,

Federico

Hi Federico,

As it has been said in your other post, you cannot use analog trigger if your module does not support it.

Although there is a little workaround to use analog triggering with unsupported modules, you would still need another module in the same task that does support it: Acquisition with Analog Triggering on a CompactDAQ - NI

Otherwise, your only option is to create a pseudo-trigger programmatically-- start data acquisition and use the values only when the signal surpasses the desired threshold.

Best,

Fort
