Any advice on how to get a PCI-6509 card to work with slackware Linux - lsdaq command can't find the card after the drivers are installed nilsdev command verifies driver is installed
I've installed a NI PCI-6509 card into a slackware 11.0 linux box - NI documentation indicates slackware linux is not supported - I'm looking for any advice that may be available as to get this card to work with slackware - I've installed the drivers and verified their installation with the nilsdev command - however the lsdaq command does not detect the PCI-6509 card - the lsdaq command returns/detects nothing - Any advice?
Although NI does not support slackware linux, nor guarantees that DAQmx will work on it, I found a customer who figured out how to do it on slackware 10.2. Feel free to try it and let us know what you find.
